» Does anyone have any good ideas on lemon pepper chicken?
You can season the chicken generously with the lemon pepper seasoning and grill or bake the chicken. Another option would be to pan fry and use the drippings as a sauce for the chicken. When cooked remove chicken white wine to de glaze the pan, add some butter and saute mushroom with minced garlic for a nice sauce for the chicken.LEMON - PEPPER CHICKEN 1 pkg. boneless chicken breasts, 4-6 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 tbsp. butter Lemon-pepper seasoning Marinate chicken in soy sauce; while melting butter in skillet over medium low heat. Add marinated chicken pieces to melted butter in skillet. Sprinkle both sides of chicken with lemon-pepper seasoning. Add remaining soy sauce. Cook over medium low heat 30-35 minutes until chicken is well...... - 2010-03-17
» WinXP limiting GUI FTP apps upload speed?
Hi. I recently upgraded to a 10Mbit sychronous connection at work. We need to upload a lot of data - around 10Gb a week. The maximum upload we can get when using any one of several WinXP FTP apps is 47.xy Kb/second. I can have 20 streams at that speed with no problem at all (pretty much saturating the connection), but if I have one or two, it never goes above that speed. I have tried BulletProof FTP, CuteFTP, FTP Voyager, and SmartFTP. All have the same limitation. I have tried communicating with some of the software manufacturers, and had no luck. Vague answers like "hm, we'll need to look in to that" and so on. But here's the rub: if I go to a DOS prompt and use commandline FTP, when I transfer a file, I get around 280Kb/se...... - 2010-03-17
» List item Positioning
I have a "ul" that I want to have a list of information on one side of the page, but have other info on the other side of the page (lined up horizontally with each other). I have put a floated span with each of the adjacent items that should be on the other side of the page, but all of the "spans" are appearing one line lower than they should. Also IE 6 is displaying the spaned info with a white background. Here is the page I am talking about: http://www.home.earthlink.net/~svoltmer/web_design.html and here is the styles: li { position:relative; background-color:#aed7ff; padding:8px; list-style-type:none; text-indend:10em; margin:0px; text-align:left; } #odds { position:relative; background-color:#d1e6fa; text-ali...... - 2010-03-17
» Trouble importing flash animation into After Effects
Hello, I am having trouble with a 30 second Flash animation for a television commercial. The animation will overlay footage and the production house needs to incorporate my animation using After Effects. I hope someone can help me... I know next to nothing about After Effects, and the tests I have done on the trial version trying to bring in swf files have been less than encouraging. The flash file is an actionscript-controlled lip-sync animation with limb and body movements animated in the timeline. Initially I thought it would be safest to export the movie as a series of PNG files with alpha channels for transparency but the export feature doesn't seem to animate symbols - only the timeline animations. That is, the lip sync doesn't pla...... - 2010-03-17
» Is the IPHONE worth buying?
That depends on what you're looking for, and if you want or need all of the features iPhone has. Personally, I think they're great. I got an iPhone last Christmas and I love it. I think it's extremely convenient and very user friendly. I find all of the functions and features to be really helpful. If you want or need to be able to check your email anywhere, access maps, and all of the other things iPhone does, then I'd say it's worth it. Sure, if you have a computer you can do a lot of those things, too. But I love my iPhone for all of the times that I can't carry my computer with me. Hope this is helpful! :)nope... if your willing to dish out some cash.. go for the new BLACKBERRY STORM from Verizon. it beat...... - 2010-03-17

» Love my Sunpak 333, but need help with operation. Help please?!
I have this great (older) flash, a Sunpak 333, that I used on my old Canon SLR film camera. There are ports for connection to the camera and something called "auto thyristor" on the flash itself. It swivels almost 360 degrees around and can tilt 90 degrees from forward to straight up. It's wonderful for bounce lighting. Anyway, I moved into digital photography a few years ago with the ultra compact Pentax S4; nice camera, great for travel due to it's small size. Recently though, I've started leaning back towards full SLR and in April, I bought a Pentax (really like this company) K100D digital SLR. Wonderful features like in-camera image stabilization and the ability to use any (almost) Pentax-compatible lens ever made. However, the f...... - 2010-03-17
» Bosnich comming over .....
Looks like Bosnich might be on his way Venables has money to spend following the sale of Rio Ferdinand, but the capture of Okon will be a free transfer, meaning there will still be funds in the kitty to further strengthen the squad. Okon should be joined in West Yorkshire by Nicky Barmby, who is expected to be unveiled at a press conference on Thursday. Meanwhile Socceroo goalkeeper Mark Bosnich may be joining former Manchester United team mates Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole at Blackburn Rovers. Bosnich continues to be out of favour with Chelsea coach Claudio Ranieri despite his good form. He has featured only once in pre-season trial matches and has not been in the either the first team or reserve team squad in recent week...... - 2010-03-17

What should I do?He isn't only gay. He wants you! Whether this is just horniness or a crush or a yearning for love I don't know. But he really hopes you might be interested, that's for sure. » Polar bears eating each other. Should we be surprised?
A report out this week said the Polar Bears are killing and eating each other for food. Does this surprise us? The Canadian Government supports the killing of seals the food supply of the Polar bear. The Canadian fisherman kill seals to protect the fishing industry. How can we be surprised that the polar bears are doing this? What are we doing to this planet. Let me know if you think that I am wrong or mislead?Iâ ™ve tried to keep it simple here. Plate tectonics have moved animals far from the places where they evolved. Some penguins are too far from their food and polar bears are running out of food as there is less ice than previously. I believe we should consider moving some polar bears to the Antarctic and some penguins to the arctic. ...... - 2010-03-17

» Duracell noise freaks out my bird?? Help!?
So the little Duracell chime noise in commercials freaks out my male cockatiel. I have a female as well, but it only bothers the male. At night when they're covered he can hear it from the other room and lets out a sleepy-sounding scream, even though he should be asleep. Worse though is in the daytime when he's alert every time he hears it he screams for about 30 seconds straight. And this is not an attention squawk, loud whistling, anything like their normal noise... this is an ear-splitting scream, and I can tell he's freaked out. It makes it completely unpleasant to watch tv, because you have to be on alert for a duracell commercial so you can mute it :) I've tried playing the noise over and over (at duracell....... - 2010-03-17

I have this hazy memory from seventh grade English class of there being a mythical river that was supposed to span a continent--I'm not even sure which--from coast to coast. I thought it was North America, and I thought the river sounded like "Anais," (or uh-nye-is, phoentically) but I can't find anything about it. It's been quietly nagging me at various times over the last decade. Bottom line: Am I making this up? If not, what's the name of the river?Your memory isn't playing tricks on you. I have some $$ set aside to buy new photography equipment, and am having trouble deciding what to get. I have a wedding scheduled for December (only my second as photographer, and the first one was very informal and completely outdoor, so a fairly easy shoot). So, which of these pieces of equipment do you think would be MORE essential for a wedding photographer? Option #1 - ultra wide angle lens... the more pricey of the two options, but I've found that sometimes my widest lens is just not quite wide enough for those "line-up-all-the-bridesmaids-and-groomsmen-on-the-church-steps" type photos. » Agency: Food Coloring May Stimulate Kids
Agency: Food Coloring May Stimulate Kids http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gNLT4K0__V758y4Q0X8znAVXI6hA LONDON (AP) — Some artificial food colorings may stimulate hyperactivity in children, and parents may gain some benefit from preventing their children from consuming them, a government agency said Thursday. The Food Standards agency had commissioned researchers at Southampton University in England to examine the possible effects of several commonly used dyes. The researchers described their findings as tentative, and advised parents that hyperactivity has complex causes and cannot be cured by simply withdrawing food colorings. Susan Jebb, a nutrition scientist at Britain's Medical Research Council, said the results might ref...... - 2010-03-17

It's tricky, to not get that gag 'reflex' but they told me a few ways to avoid that strange feeling. - Breath through your nose, focus on breathing through your nose rather than your mouth. - Wiggle your toes, and focus on that - Focus on a picture/photo or something in the office that you can look at. » Donate depreciated equitment as business vs. individual
I am the 100% owner of a small business which owns significant amounts of computer equipment. Some of this equipment has been 100% depreciated on the companies books. I would like to donate the depreciated equipment to a non-profit organization. It seems there is no tax benefit to donating the equipment from the company. But, the equipment does have a fair market value greater then the fully depreciated value. Can I make the donations from myself (as an individual) and claim the FMV as a deduction on my personal tax return? Are there any risks in this approach?1) Why would there not be a tax benefit if the company donates the computers? Does it have to do with the form of business organization (corporation, LLC, proprietorship, etc...... - 2010-03-17

I am having some difficulty with this question since it contains complex numbers. It seems like I should start off with system of equations. Can someone help me solve this or at least get me started? Thanks Find a (complex) quadratic polynomial P(z)=a+bz+cz2 which interpolates the data: (-1,i),(0,i), (3 i, 0) Write your answers a ,b, c in Cartesian form x + iy. a = b = c =P(0) = i then P(0) = a = i thus P(z) = i + bz + cz^2 P(-1) = i - b + c = i -b + c = 0 b = c P(3i) = i + 3ib - 9c = 0 9b - 3ib = i b(9 - 3i) = i b = i/(9 - 3i) = i(9 + 3i) / 90 b = c = -1/30 + 1/10 i .P(z)= a+bz+c·z² P(0)=i --> a=i P(-1)= i --> a-b+c=i --> i-b+c=i --> -b+c=0 --> b=c P(3i)=0 --> a+3·ib - 9c=0 --> i+3·i·b - 9b=0 --> ...... - 2010-03-17
» How do I remove the rotary steering cable from a 1987 mercury 60 hp boat motor?
Both jims and william M are right. I'll assume that the cable is bad and that's why you want to replace it. Sometimes it slips right out, other times you have to use all necessary force. I've used a hydraulic jack. I've also used various saws and a cutting torch. What ever it takes. Good luck!Well the first answer is sourced from a beer can. Here's how a pro does it. Go under the helm (dashboard) look to see how it comes out . Some will be a cable that has a nut on the gearbox were the cable goes into it. Un screw it ( rightey tighty lefty losey) Then hear comes the difficult part. Fallow the cable back to the motor, and take down any clamps or other holding devices that hold the cable in.

Apparently I have an ungrateful and unappreciative hubby who is choosing to leave his brand new camera on the bedroom floor instead of using it. He is also not smart enough to stick the thing in his truck and at least pretend that he has used it. I think it is a shame for all my hard work and efforts to get the camera in time for his birthday are going to waste. So, if I find it on the bedroom floor one more day I am going to sell it to one you boys that REALLY wants one, but are unable to locate it. Mrs. Seat DownApparently I have an ungrateful and unappreciative hubby who is choosing to leave his brand new camera on the bedroom floor instead of using it. He is also not smart enough to stick the thing in his...... - 2010-03-17
» Resolve Unknown PCI Device on Windows 2000
I have an ASUS CUSL2-C motherboard with an 866MHz PIII chip and 512MB RAM. I have an older NVIDIA GeForce2 AGP video card. The only PCI cards I have are an Intel Pro 100/S NIC and a SEK'D Prodif Plus digital sound card. I am running Windows 2000. This all used to work great...I've used this computer mainly for digital audio applications for well over a year. At some point...I truly don't know when this happened or what I could have done that would have caused it, rebooting the computer discovers and unknown PCI device, and this causes my sound card to stop working. Since then, here is what I have tried: 1. Removed cards...tried combinations of having one and not the other, and removed them both. Even with no PCI cards ...... - 2010-03-17

hey there, could you help me understand these sentences please? 1. boku wa genki ya de! 2. nani yori mo hozu... 3. boku no o-ki-ni hitori. (that's hiragana "o", "ki" as in "genki" and hiragana "ni") 4 he starts his postcard with "- - na ru john he" (the two "-"s are in kanji). i'm guessing this must be the way you start postcards. what does it actually say? id appreciate your help1. sounds like osaka-ben or some other kind of regional dialect for "boku ha genki desu" (I'm fine.) 2. Not sure about this one. Maybe also dialect. Is there more context? 3. okini(iru) is another way to say "like". I'm not 100% sure but I read this as "The one I like" 4. Depends on the kanji. » What would be a lovely piece of flute music to play as my friend walks down the aisle when she gets married?
I will be playing the flute for my friend next summer as she walks down the aisle. I've been looking into loads of famous flute pieces and want to get it just right... Can anybody help? Something recognisable would be better I think. Just something really lovely and romantic and that will add to the atmosphere as she walks down the aisle - something that will make her feel really special. Any suggestions really welcome - thank you! xxTrumpet Voluntary by Clarke It's ok you're not playing on trumpet, it's very traditional for weddings on flute. » If a guy likes a girl, will he try to get her into bed on the first date?
Like some kind of test to see if she's easy? And if he can get her into bed does he stop being interested? Sorry this is probably a bit of a stupid question. I'm just a bit clueless when it comes to dating and I'm a bit of a "good girl" when it comes to sex. It's not a stupid question. It's an important question. If he really likes you for who you are, he's willing to wait until you are ready. He'll be patient & not pressure you. If he's pushing for it on the 1st date, or heck, anytime, you don't want this type of man. He's not in it for the long haul & you will end up broken hearted. Yes, if you give in, he may stay around awhile for more of it, but as soon as he meets someone else he...... - 2010-03-17

» Wedding Photographers -- Need Advice!
Option #2 - a flash... I avoid using my built-in flash at all costs; I don't like how it effects the end photo, but looking at an indoor, winter, ...... - 2010-03-17

» Find a (complex) quadratic polynomial P(z)=a+bz+cz2 which interpolates the data: (-1,i),(0,i), (3 i, 0).?
I am having some difficulty with this question since it contains complex numbers. It seems like I should start off with system of equations. Can someone help me solve this or at least get me started? Thanks Find a (complex) quadratic polynomial P(z)=a+bz+cz2 which interpolates the data: (-1,i),(0,i), (3 i, 0) Write your answers a ,b, c in Cartesian form x + iy. a = b = c =P(0) = i then P(0) = a = i thus P(z) = i + bz + cz^2 P(-1) = i - b + c = i -b + c = 0 b = c P(3i) = i + 3ib - 9c = 0 9b - 3ib = i b(9 - 3i) = i b = i/(9 - 3i) = i(9 + 3i) / 90 b = c = -1/30 + 1/10 i .P(z)= a+bz+c·z² P(0)=i --> a=i P(-1)= i --> a-b+c=i --> i-b+c=i --> -b+c=0 --> b=c P(3i)=0 --> a+3·ib - 9c=0 --> i+3·i·b - 9b=0 --> ...... - 2010-03-17
When thi...... - 2010-03-17
