I am looking for a clasp with male/female parts also called a
"neoprene" clasp (refering to the plastic fitting that holds the male
end into the female end). When closed, the clasp basically looks like
a gold or silver barrel-bead with eyes at each end for attaching to a
necklace or bracelet.Missy
That post you cited was a response to me, but I've been unable to
connect again with the poster.
I'm located in Chicago, IL. I need access to a high volume, low cost
solution (ie I'm sourcing these clasps so my company can provide this
info to our anklet/bracelet manufacturers).
Please advise.
KirkHere is a post from a beaders' message board that may be helpful to researchers:
http://www.thebeadsite.com/anyboard/anyboard.cgi/forums/BEADCHAT?cmd=rA&cG=403Whereabouts are you located (city and state)? I'm familiar with the
sort of clasp you're referring to - my grandmother also called them
"barrel clasps". They are usually found in craft shops in the
"Jewelry Findings" aisles.
If you can tell me where you're located, I can try to chase a shop
down for you.
