I give them all the time the same brand, and I SWITCH them flavors like instead of Chicken and Beef, I'll buy the next time: Seafood.
How are they affected? upset stomach, more use of litter, etc.
Thank you.I don't think it affects them, unless they're eating less and losing weight. Or they're spitting up more hair balls. Mine tend to do okay on dry, hairball remedy kind. Once every 2 weeks they get a six pack of the canned chicken chunks w/ gravy, and they're okay sharing 3 cans each, then it's back to dry.
Cats are sometimes picky and will eat around the morsels that they don't like. One of my cats refuses to eat the green colored bits, look like peas, he eats around them, and the other cat eats everything.If you are getting wet food it won't effect them as long as it's the same brand. If it is dry food they are usually different formulas not flavors and in that case it will affect the cat's digestion even if it is the same brand. This can be seen in diarrhea and more frequent trips to the litter box. So if you are using dry food stick to one kind/flavor and your kitty will be just fine.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
