1st Leg Score: Chelsea 2 Viking FK 1
Still n all i never for a moment though that we would advance without scoring.
One goal from us will change the whole complexion of the game.
Time to settle down now and let them run out of gas.
We will score, i don't doubt that.
The thing is will it be enough to go thru on the away goals rule.?
With all that salary money we could have got ONE decent and useful player.
Ho-hum
should win tonight though eh ?
should n't we?
Gronks on the right
Static on the left
In his very first game he lead Chelsea to Uefa cup elimination against St Gallen..
The next year they were beaten by Hapoel tel-aviv...
His record as manager is pathetic .
If they lose tonight you've gotta call his management into question.
2-0
No sound here at work :(
.....and is anyone else listening to that ham down on the pitch syking up the crowd!?
Damn....gotta run to a meeting. I'll be back at half and will expect us to have a comfortable 2 goal lead.
You're Shish and you know you are
You're Shish and you know you are
You're Shish and you know you are
You're Shish and you know you are
That we would be the only EPL club not to make the second round of the cup...............nah, we're gonna score.
We used to sing this in the North stand when rottenham came to try and play.(edited for tonights game of course)
A rousing chorus would be needed from the away faithfull.
Sung to the tune of "seasons in the sun"
We had joy, we had fun
We had Vikings on the run
But, the fun didn't last
'coz the bastards ran to fast

Regaining the services of Le Saux & Petit.
Other than that i am happy to see the return of Petit and especially Le Saux, who, in my opinion is still the best left back in the country.
Now to see if i can get Big Blue.
What a feecking relief.
alright 2-1 down
all square on agg
we should do it now
great time to score
I said we were gonna score.

NOW, extra time?.....nah....we're gonna score 2 in the second half.
KTBFFH
Ranieri was grinning on the sidelines...
he is absolutley useless as a manager..
whatever happened to the Vialli days???
They were brilliant under viallis management..
Zola put one over the bar when it would have been easier to score.
Hass had one taken off his feet when he was about to tap it in.
VIking playing extremly well, but seem to have reverted to the first legs tactics now of being content to defend, no doubt hoping the away goal will win thru for them.
We are doing extremly well down the right wing..or left side is stuttering to say the least.
Goal for them was the result of a melee from an inswinging corner...same old bollox of not being able to defend from a set piece.
But we are pressing forward and i can't see us not scoring...the problem is will we concede another.
13 Carlo Cudicini
5 William Gallas
26 John Terry
29 Robert Huth
14 Graeme Le Saux
30 Jesper Gronkjaer
11 Frank Lampard
17 Emmanuel Petit
12 Mario Stanic
25 Gianfranco Zola
9 Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink
The Chelsea bench is: 1 Ed De Goey, 7 Winston Bogarde, 11 Boudewijn Zenden, 20 Jody Morris, 22 Eidur Gudjohnsen, 24 Gabriele Ambrosetti, 33 Joel Kitamirike.
Will ranieri continue his tradition of Uefa cup humiliation???
In his very first game he lead Chelsea to Uefa cup elimination against St Gallen..
The next year they were beaten by Hapoel tel-aviv...
His record as manager is pathetic .
If they lose tonight you've gotta call his management into question.
Well now, the knockers are starting to come out early then i see.
Some facts to cloud over the image.
That was Viallis team that lost to St Gallen.....not Ranieris.
He bought his first player for the team 3 weeks...lets repeat that again for clarity...3 weeks after that particular game.
Now then...hardly HIS team eh mate?
Now, as we all know but some like to forget, it was the "C" team that went to ISRAEL to play Hapoel.
And, were much chastised by not only by the media but also by UEFA president JOHANSEN himself for fielding a weakened team...against a team that went on to the quaters by the way, but that is never mentioned.Don't let facts get in the way of a good wind up right?
Then a year later UEFA force Israeli teams to play ALL their games in GREECE for the safety reasons that Chelsea brough up the previous year and were chastised for.
IS this clear enough.
Thanks for the contribution to our board and if uyou need any more facts on anything do drop by again.
Cheers.
not one of those nights.
Merde!
alright 2-1 down
all square on agg
we should do it now
great time to score
Petit and/or Le Saux probably need "resting" so as to keep them fit for the pool.
Zenden on - StaTic moves to LB perhaps?
Bogarde for Petit - I was thinking like-for-like :)
I'm p1ssed off
